I tried it with gdb 7.6 on OpenSuse 12.1 and the problem didn't happen for me.

Yeah, the tui is all messed up again. Running cygwin x86 with gdb 7.8.

I set TERM to cygwin just in case that was the issue, and it didn't help.

Thanks for the screen shots.
This looks like something going wrong with whatever version of curses
you are using. Do you know what that is? I would suggest contacting
the maintainers to see if this is a known problem; or perhaps building
against a newer version of whatever it is.
